Participative urban intervention that takes place in the streets of Barcelona, Spain, during Sant Jordi day.
Via Colectivo Piloto
Sant Jordi day is a Catalan tradition where men offer roses to women and women offer books to men.
Willing to modernize Sant Jordi, my Organization Colectivo Piloto and the Garcilaso Youth Community Center (Barcelona City Council) came up with “MobilePOEMES3gp”. During this one day event, the passersby were prompted to record an improvised poem in front of a camera producing a less-than-one-minute video piece that they could send to their peers via bluetooth.
“MobilePOEMES3gp” gives fresh air to an old, but appreciated tradition and promotes citizens communication skills through a creative use of electronics devices.
You can watch all “POEMES3gp” on the YouTube Channel.
