These series of photographs was taken to illustrate the article “Why Black Lives Matter?” authored by Pablo Herrera and published on LinkedIn and Medium on June 5, 2020. The article exposes the hollowness of the “All Lives Matter” term as a misconception used to deny centuries of injustice and oppression towards the black community in the United States.
